A Letter from the Executive Producer
I am thrilled to announce the launch of StarVista LIVE’s newest theme cruise experience, the Ultimate Disco Cruise! Growing up in the ‘70s, I remember so clearly the lifestyle and musical phenomenon that was Disco. It created a social scene for people of all different backgrounds to come together and share that dance fever worldwide. The music had a beat and message that made us get out on the dance floor and kept us out there all night. We’ve heard from many of our guests that their favorite theme nights on our cruises are the Disco/Funk theme nights. These dance parties bring back the fantastic memories of the disco era – the clothes, the clubs, the dances, our old friends, our romances and that fabulous musical revolution heard and enjoyed worldwide - and we can’t wait to recreate that dance fever and era at sea.
After eight plus years of producing nostalgia-based music cruises, we’ve found that the best way to recapture the best memories and good times in our lives is through music. We’re bringing the movement to the high seas on the Ultimate Disco Cruise as we celebrate the dance and attitude explosion that was disco music. We’ll hustle back to the late ‘70s and recapture the musical seduction of rhythm and romance that created that fantastic social scene. What better way to recapture all of this than onboard a beautiful ship sailing through the Caribbean with so many of the superstar disco artists we remember?
